for Life© Healthy 3 Fruit Drink Recipes
When you want something lite, nutritious and tasty for a quick breakfast, or a snack in the late afternoon, these Healthy Fruit Drinks are the perfect choice. Perfect for weight watchers and the healthy eating conscious.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 1-2
Ingredients:
Fruit Drink #1
1 cup (250ml) orange juice
½ cup (125ml) blueberry juice
1 green apple, cut up in small chunks
1 red apple, cut up in small chunks
2 kiwis, cut up in small chunks
Fruit Drink #2
1 cup (250ml) mango juice
1 cup (250ml) pineapple, cut up in small chunks
1 green apple, cut up in small chunks
1 red apple, cut up in small chunks
1 pear, cut up in small chunks
Fruit Drink #3
1 cup (250ml) orange juice
1 cup (250ml) mango juice
1 cup (250ml) pineapple, cut up in small chunks
1 green apple, cut up in small chunks
1 red apple, cut up in small chunks
Method:
Measure liquid ingredients for the Fruit Drink of your choice into a blender or food processor
container.
Chop fruit into small chunks and add to liquid ingredients in container.
Process on high speed for 1 minute to liquify all ingredients and blend them together thoroughly.
Pour into tall glasses, may garnish with a slice of orange, apple, pineapple or kiwi.
For a colder drink you may pour the Fruit Drink over ice in a glass.
Note:
You may add ½ cup (125ml) of plain or vanilla yogurt to any one of the 3 Fruit Drinks.
This will make the Fruit Drink creamier. It also supplies calcium
